Anden Suárez Promoted to Admissions Director at The Annex
Now it’s official: Anden Suárez has been promoted to Admissions Director!
If you’ve called The Annex looking for help, there’s a good chance Anden Suárez picked up. Anden has been with The Annex since it opened its doors, and anyone who’s worked with her knows this one was a long time coming. She’s trained to work with complex trauma presentations and de-escalate high-acuity crises, studied Psychology at Brown University, and is on track to finish her B.S. in Counseling & Addiction Recovery Sciences at Texas Tech — the clinical grounding behind that warm phone manner.
The Annex LEADS WITH A TRAUMA-INFORMED Admissions DIRECTOR
“Having an Admissions Director who actually understands trauma-informed care and the challenges our clients face makes a world of difference,” said Haley Daroowala, Assistant Clinical Director. “Anden is diligent about collecting information to ensure clients and their families have the right fit for a treatment center, and she is truly the one who starts building the therapeutic alliance before anyone even steps into our door.”
“Anden is an exceptionally sharp, sophisticated professional,” said Ryan Young, CEO of The Annex. “Yes, she’s deeply compassionate and gentle with families — but she operates a level or two beyond that. She holds her own in high-level clinical conversations, has earned the respect of some of the most tenured therapeutic consultants in the field, and manages some of the toughest cases and most complicated family systems I’ve seen.”
ADMISSIONS DIRECTED WITH COMPASSION & INTEGRITY
“I’m incredibly grateful to have grown alongside The Annex since we opened our doors, and it’s an honor to step into this leadership role,” said Suárez. “It’s a privilege to support our clients, families, and professional partners through some of life’s most vulnerable moments, and I’m committed to ensuring every interaction is met with compassion and integrity.”
Congratulations to Anden, The Annex is lucky to have her leading the way!
