CLINICAL SPECIALIZATION:

Dr. Stanford is a licensed psychologist, seasoned clinical leader, and co-founder of The Annex, a boutique treatment center devoted to healing complex PTSD, attachment trauma, and personality disorders. Her clinical career spans leadership at several renowned treatment centers across the country, where she directed high-acuity programming, facilitated family systems intensives, and helped design innovative, trauma-informed models of care.

She is also the founder of Stanford Psychological Services, a thriving group practice in Dripping Springs, Texas, where she supervises a team of clinicians devoted to treating trauma, addiction, and relational wounds. Dr. Stanford holds advanced certifications in EMDR, CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist), CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional), PRATI Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and is an AASECT Sex Therapist. She is also a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator trained under Dr. Brené Brown, with additional specialization in clinical supervision and team development.

Dr. Stanford’s clinical work centers on attachment wounds, sexual trauma, and relational dysfunction—including love addiction and toxic relationship cycles. A nationally and internationally recognized speaker and published author, she presents on topics such as trauma recovery, secure attachment, and the intersection of intimacy and healing. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities with compassionate, attuned care—anchored in the belief that true transformation happens when clinical excellence meets relational integrity.
